For sale is a unique, 1960’s- 1970’s, mod, Gucci, cobalt blue leather, petite, cross body or shoulder handbag with white contrast stitching, corner accents, and gold hardware! It is a classic style from Gucci that would be a great used as your everyday purse if you travel light or for a night out!
The bag is unusual- not like the classic, Gucci, purses I see online for sale. It is definitely from the late 1960’s- early 1970’s, based on its style. The purse is made of cobalt blue leather. It has a skinny matching leather strap that ties into the sides and the corners are accented and reinforced with white contrast stitching and another layer of leather. It is a petite, top zip cross body or shoulder bag.
It has minimal wear to the very clean black leather lining and there is a back zip close pocket- see pictures. The interior has a gold, ‘Gucci, Made in Italy’ engraved plaque on the back- it predates serial numbers. A third party has authenticated it, so buy with confidence! It is an unusual, vintage Gucci and will always be in style- perfect for any time of year and if you travel light!
